Turmeric has been used to warm and strengthen the entire body, as a blood purifier, digestive aid, to eliminate worms, improve intestinal flora, and relieve gas. Chemical Constituents: Ar-turmerone (20-25 percent), alpha-turmerone (18 percent), beta-turmerone (12-13 percent), curcumin (2-5 percent), zingiberene (sesquiterpene), beta-caryophyllene (sesquiterpene), eucalyptol (a monoterpene, which helps to reprogram DNA), alpha-phellandrene (monoterpene), beta-sesquiphellandrene (sesquiterpene) and curcumenol.

Companion Oils: Cistus, clary sage, ginger, ylang ylang

Precautions: Avoid use with small children, elders, epileptics, pregnant and/or nursing women. May cause skin irritation. Not for internal use. Nontoxic (low doses), however, ketones could make it neurotoxic and abortive.
