Clove oil can help prevent contagious disease and may treat arthritis, bronchitis, cholera, cystitis, dental infection, amoebic dysentery, diarrhea, acne, fatigue, thyroid dysfunction, halitosis, headaches, hypertension, insect bites, nausea, neuritis, dermatitis, rheumatism, sinusitis, skin cancer, chronic skin disease, bacterial colitis, sores (speeds healing of mouth and skin sores), viral hepatitis, warts and lymphoma.

Chemical Constituents: eugenol, eugenol acetate, iso-eugenol and caryophyllene

Companion Oils: Basil, bergamot, cinnamon bark, clary sage, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, nutmeg, orange, peppermint, rose, rosemary CT cineol, ylang ylang.

Precautions: Mucous membrane and dermal irritant. Clove oil is a very potent oil and should be used with care. If it is used in a oil, lotion or cream applied to the skin, the concentration should be well below 1%. Avoid in alcoholism, in hemophilia, in prostatic cancer, with kidney and liver problems and if taking anticoagulants. It should be avoided during pregnancy.
