I am listening to We Are The World right now and thinking about what we could all to do to honor his memory. I am pretty sure that  his wish would be for us to do something, anything, to make our world a better place, as well as to continue his message of love and healing on this planet.

So **THIS WEEK**, the week of Michael’s birthday, we’re asking all those who are fans of Michael Jackson, as well as those who are not, to download the song, We Are The World, or purchase the single or CD album.

All proceeds from the sales of these audio and video recording continue to go to USA for Africa and allow each of us to participate in our own small way in the feeding of hungry children – in the healing of our world.

The single is available for download on the USA for Africa site, as well as Amazon and iTunes.  With every purchase, all monies will go to USA for Africa to help them continue their incredible humanitarian efforts – the feeding of starving children and their families.

I think if we all bought a copy of We Are The World in the week of his birthday and got it to number one, it would first of all help make the world a better place, and secondly show that Michael’s message and vision live on in so very many people – fans and non-fans alike.

If you are not a fan of Michael, that’s ok. But please take a moment and find a way today to give back, to help someone, to support your charity of choice, to give a smile, a hug or an encouraging word. We are all called upon to heal our world – it is not limited to the people of one nation, the members of one race or gender, nor the fans of one artist. If not you, if not me, if not us…who?

We’re doing it because we believe in Michael’s vision of a healed and loving world as well as for those less fortunate than ourselves.
