Winter Squash Casserole

Winter Squash Casserole
Serves about 10 to 12 as side dish

Ingredients:
6 cups butternut squash, cooked and mashed (you can also use pumpkin)
6 eggs, lightly beaten
cup brown sugar
cup margarine, melted
Salt and pepper
Sprinkle of nutmeg

Topping:
1.5 cup brown sugar
cup butter, softened
cup all-purpose flour
cup chopped pecans

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit.

Place the mashed squash, eggs, brown sugar, melted margarine, salt, pepper and nutmeg into a bowl and mix well. Spoon into a 13-inch x 9-inch x 2inch baking dish.

In a separate bowl, combine all the topping ingredients and crumble over the top. Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes. A knife inserted in the center should come out clean.
