How the Body Works
Food is consumed. It is then broke down within the body so that it can be used for different purposes. The nutrients are used for various things such as metabolism, muscle growth and cellular growth. Everything generally functions well as long as we do right by our bodies.
Moving around incinerates calories. We have to burn thirty five hundred calories in order to drop off 1 pound. Therefore, we must incinerate more calories than we take in on a daily basis.
This sort of movement isn’t merely walking to the front of the grocery store or taking the stairs up to the office, at work. Each day, you should have a set time to take part in some sort of physical activity.
A lot of folks end up on starvation diets because they have tried everything else, already. In the beginning, you might feel as if you are slimming down but soon reality crashes down.
Our body’s ability to use energy is known as metabolism. Our body’s will cease to function without some sort of energy. This includes cellular metabolism and additional things the body has to do to keep things rolling along.

These type of diets are centered around limiting the amount of calories that are taken in. To continue functioning properly, the body needs one thousand calories a day. Anything below that can bring about severe consequences.
Your body will know once it has reached starvation mode. For example, you are stuck with no food. You will hold out for a few weeks because the body uses up the fat it has stored and uses energy as efficiently as possible.
If you go from having 2000 calories to 700, all of a sudden, your body will go into starvation mode. It will live off the fat that is hived away. It will also burn muscle for energy. Even strength training is pointless when you are in starvation mode. Yes, you are building muscle. But at the same time your body is burning that same muscle.
As your muscles disappear, the metabolism drops. This is because the body is saving it’s energy to keep you alive longer. You may be working out 2 hours a day, every day, and not burning any fat!
