Life is full of changes and it is understandable that how we manage stress may be influenced by how we process change.
Change can be stressful or it can be a good thing. We all learn stress management techniques either through watching how others handle stress or by learning through educational resources such as taking a stress management class. First of all you need to recognize when a change is about to hit you. Changes can cause stress simply because change brings with it emotion. Just throw a few changes to a child and watch the play of emotions taking place. Small changes or big changes, it doesn’t matter all change can bring about stress. Small changes such as being detoured because of construction can be stressful or having a child becomes ill unrepentantly even if it is just the sniffles. Large changes are understandably stressful such as a move.
