Relief For the Soles
If you enjoy this post, please share it using the buttons in the post, or email it to a friend, we'd really appreciate it!Here’s a tonic for tired, sore, chapped, calloused feet. This cream may also be applied to insect bites, or other areas of the body that can tolerate the icy-hot sensation of peppermint.
Directions:
Make essential oil blend at least 3 – 5 days ahead of time. Place Shea butter in large glass bowl and, using the back of a large spoon, mash until it breaks down; slowly add all other ingredients to Shea butter and mix until oils are well blended. (Note, leaving your Shea in the sun for 30 minutes or so beforehand will help to soften it naturally)
DO NOT melt your Shea quickly or crystals will form. For extra creaminess: use a mixer (blend for about 15 – 20 minutes) or a food processor (blend for 5 minutes). Pour into desired containers and allow mixture 1 – 2 days to set up. For quicker set up, place in refrigerator several hours.
Method of use:
Begin with a very small amount, (about the size of a pea), work in between fingertips until cream is pliable, apply to desired area. Repeat as necessary. Use 1 – 2 times daily, depending on severity of problem.
Oil blend:
* 500ml Shea butter
* 30ml jojoba oil
* 30ml fractionated coconut oil

* 15ml Rosehip seed oil
* 1ml Lemon essential oil
