Nutrient Profiles of Vegetable and Nut Oils
If you enjoy this post, please share it using the buttons in the post, or email it to a friend, we'd really appreciate it!
Here is a great webpage I want to share with all of you, www.netrition.com/nuts.html, has an exhaustive report on commonly used oils.
This table has two levels. You can look at the first level of two charts. Then go down from each chart and select a specific oil and see its total nutrient profile.
As these charts only deal with those minerals that are considered part of the MDR (US medical minimum daily requirement to stop disease or rickets, … only the MINIMUM daily needs) or RDA (US medical RECOMMENDED daily allowance) on a vitamin/mineral supplement bottle, they do not show the rest of the trace minerals.
What they do not show is that the tree nut oils will be the higher mineral compounds. I use a lot of essential oils for different things and thought others might enjoy this as much as I did.
