Those who suffer from Psoriasis find that they increase their flareups when the skin is damaged.  Take care to stay out of situations where your skin may be damaged, such as blackberry picking, and wear loose clothing so there is no undue rubbing on the skin.  You can also be injured wearing things such as tight shoes, watch bands and even dull razors.  Scientists have also found that maintaining a normal weights can help decrease the number of flareups a person experiences.
