He has appetite to eat but rather skeptic for he might get stomach pains and throw up again. His doctor said no medicine is required but watch the food intake. So, no dairies etc.. he’s 9 y.o.

You just know when he’s in pain, he cries. He runs to the toilet when he feels he’s about to throw up. Does anybody know how to treat this with home remedy, first aid, mother instinct kind of thing? Meaning the natural way or what not to eat or what to eat or …is yogurt good??? I don’t know…. need help and anwers please….

Well, I do believe that you should take him to another doctor – 2 weeks is too long for a child to be losing that much fluid and nutrients via vomiting and diarrhea.

However, if it is some sort of food poisoning and even some viral infections, activated charcoal could be the answer.

Activated charcoal is what emergency rooms use for many poisonings and overdoses. It absorbs many times it’s weight and is simply amazing for food poisoning, many viral infections, nausea and diarrhea. You can get it a your local health food store – and get the powdered form, not the capsules.

Mix 2 TBsp into a glass of water and have him drink after every time he vomits or has diarrhea. Do this for 12-24 hours. If he’s no better by then, stop the treatment – and, as always, don’t neglect solid medical advice.

Btw, charcoal has no flavor, but it is a gritty texture so your son my whine about taking it, I know my kids did lol. But, it works. And, it can be a mess, it poofs like copier toner (grin), so be careful when you open it.
