Mental Edge Monday Topic #12: Getting Through Navy SEAL Training It was Wednesday afternoon of Navy SEAL Hell Week. It was cold, wet, and miserable. We hadn’t been dry since this madness started on Sunday afternoon. Wednesday was a critical day. Statistics show that most people who survive until Thursday will complete the week’s training no matter what ails them (e.g., broken ribs, pneumonia, shin splints, etc.). Wednesday afternoon was also the time for medical evaluations. The remaining trainees (probably 35 at the time) would strip down naked (one at a time) and get assessed by a medical doctor.
