FULL BODY MASQUE
* 1 handful finely crushed almonds
* 5 tablespoons uncooked oatmeal
* 2 teaspoons brown sugar
* 2 tablespoons honey
* 1/4 cup hot water
Mix all ingredients to form a paste. Slather on (especially on back and chest areas) and leave for 10 minutes. massage in; rinse off.
PEACHY CREAMY BATH OIL SOAK
* 3 whole eggs
* 1/4 cup plus 1 teaspoon witch hazel
* 1/4 cup plus 1 teaspoon corn oil
* 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
* 1/2 cup plain yogurt
* 2 tablespoons melted butter
* 1 3/4 cups whole milk
* 1 cup peach or apricot juice
Melt butter and mix with corn oil. Let stand one hour.
Mix eggs and stir gently. Add all ingredients, one at a time, to blender, adding 1 cup of the milk last. Blend at low speed. Turn off blender and add last 3/4 cup milk, unbeaten. Stir. Keep refrigerated for freshness.
To use, shake and add 1/2 cup to bath water.
Yields: 3 cups or 6 baths.
Whole-Body Mud Pack
Invigorating but messy.
* 5 Ounces Fuller’s Earth
* 7 Fluid Ounces Fresh Apple Juice
* 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
* 2 Tablespoons Almond Oil
* 1 Tablespoon Honey
* 6 Drops Sandalwood or Neroli Essential Oil
Mix the Fuller’s earth with the apple and lemon juices until it forms a smooth paste.
Stir in the almond oil, honey and essential oil.
To use, apply small amounts of the mixture to the body. Start at the feet and work up. Concentrate on areas of dull, dingy skin. Gently massage the mixture into the skin and leave for a few minutes to dry before getting into the shower. Use warm water to rinse off all traces of the mud pack, then shower.
