I have taken herbs out of valerian capsules, as well as echinacea and goldenseal, and they work fine in a pinch even if I do prefer to use dried herb that I infuse myself.Love and light,

I just bought some Valerian Root off a website that I wrote about on my blog. I am not sure, but can I break the valerian capsules up to use in the tea, or must I buy wholesale?

Hello, I will have to try those herbal teas for sleep.
