Life can sure as shooting seem off-balance and out of control from time to time. As a matter of fact, sometimes it seems as if harmony and spiritual health are totally out of reach. It seems that we’re always juggling numerous things, and trying to keep them all in order – and this is an inconceivable chore.

There are a few things you are able to integrate into your life, however, that can help you attain spiritual health and balance.

Here are a few thoughts to help you achieve spiritual health

* Control – Identify what you are able to control, and what you can not. Once you acknowledge that you do not have to be solely in charge of keeping every ball in the air in your every day juggling act, you are able to allow some of them to go and concentrate on the ones that you are able to control. Diet, exercise, and learning new things are all activities and life style selections you are able to influence and control. Balance is a big part of attaining spiritual health.

* Diet – Rather than obsessing over weight loss and what the newest superfood is, take an honest look at your diet and make a few adjustments. Start small and work towards a balanced diet. It is amazing how your life can feel more harmonious when your diet is.

* Exercise – Any exercise is beneficial as long as it’s regular, but if you genuinely wish to heighten your spiritual health and attain balance, engage in exercise that promotes that. Martial arts, Yoga, Pilates, Qigong, and other meditative, stretching exercises profit the mind, body and spirit.

* A higher power – Engage in prayer and/or meditation on an every day basis. It helps shift your focus off of your troubles and onto the spiritual world. It puts matters into perspective and improves your spiritual health.

* Herbal tea – Drinking herbal teas may help you towards your healthful goals. Perhaps you need a relaxing blend, or perhaps an energizing one. Tea drinking is actually part of the religious ceremonies in many countries. It links you to nature and promotes a peaceful spirit.

* Gratitude – Try to cultivate a sense of gratitude in your life. When you’re grateful for what you have, it makes what you do not have much less of a worry.

* Sleep – Getting sufficient sleep is crucial for mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. It’s a key part of attaining balance in your life.

* Mantras – Internalize a wise saying, verse of scripture, philosophical phrase, or whatsoever inspires you. Write it down and place it on your bathroom mirror, coffee maker, by your computer monitor, or wherever you’ll view it daily.

* Nature – Get out into nature. A lot of of us suffer from an inadequate “dose” of the outdoors, making our lives an imbalanced experience of indoor-only living. Connection with nature helps the spirit, as well, and heightens spiritual health.

Great tips!  I like that you included gratitude and getting into nature.  Give your woes to the ocean and trees. Come home refreshed!

    Hi there,

I’d only do 2-3 drops in each nostril and no more than twice a day to start. If you have any adverse reactions, stop immediately. Also, I would suggest that you ask your doctor for advice on this before beginning a sesame oil regimen. :) Please let us know how it goes!
