A green drink is a blended beverage made from fruits and vegetables.

You can throw your produce drawer in the blender and see what happens. However, it’s often better if you embrace green drink recipes.

Here are a few Green Drinks to consider:

1. Lime Green Smoothie

* 3/4 cup coconut water
* 2 cups spinach
* 1 medium avocado, peeled and pitted
* 1/2 medium cucumber, chopped
* 2 teaspoons finely grated lime zest
* 2 limes, peeled and halved
* 20 drops alcohol-free liquid stevia
* Pinch Celtic sea salt
* 1 teaspoon minced ginger
* 1 1/2 cups ice

Throw everything into your blender and blend until it’s smooth. Drink and enjoy.

2. Cucumber Spinach Green Drink

* 2 cups spinach
* 1 medium cucumber
* 1 stalk celery
* 1 teaspoon grated ginger
* 1/2 cup chopped parsley
* 2 apples, cored
* 1 tablespoon lime juice
* 1 tablespoon lemon
* 1 cup ice cubes

Throw everything into your blender and blend until it’s smooth. Drink and enjoy.

3. Green Goodness

* 1 head of celery
* 1 medium cucumber
* 2-3 large kale leaves
* 1 cup dandelion greens
* 1 lemon, peeled
* 1 tbsp. grated ginger
* 1/2 cup pea sprouts
* 1 cup parsley
* 1 cup cilantro
* 2 apples, peeled and cored

Throw everything into your blender and blend until it’s smooth. Drink and enjoy.

Each of these green drink recipes is easy to adapt to your own personal preferences. You can add herbs and juices depending on your tastes.

Some things to remember when making green drinks:
