My favorites are, like you, Olive Oil, warm/stale beer (LOVE that one) and straight mayonaise. I will use the beer rinse after whatever else I use to condition tho - there's just no shine like a beer rinse shine!Dee

Many people swear by this recipe, I like using one or two ingredients. Together they don't. This recipe did not work for me at all. I mixed it up and it was very liquidy and lumpy so it was hard to apply. I left it on for a bit and when I went to rinse it out it was very very very difficult to rinse clean (I have very very thick and long hair) and balled up into large chunks that were hard to remove. It didn't really do much conditioning-wise and also clogged up the drain. I don't think rinsing with warm water is the best idea with this; cold might work better. Thanks but I'll stick to the olive oil or the vinegar by itself.

I thought I would try this because I do already use ACV on my hair and <a
