Try the following blend of essential oils in a warm bath to ease Stress and muscle pain:
3 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
2 drops Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium var. amara)
1Â2 drops Frankincense (Boswellia cateri) Âoptional
When addressing a physical or emotional ailment or condition, use only Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils.
Add blend after bath is drawn, swirling oils throughout the water with your foot or hand before entering bath. Relax in in the bath at least 10 minutes, preferably 15 or 20 minutes.
Please be sure to keep oiled water away from your eyes. If you do get essential oils in your eyes, rinse with pure vegetable oils, NOT water!
You can use this blend once daily several times a week for a 2 to 3 week period. This recipe, when added to a tablespoon of Almond oil or pure vegetable oil, can also be used as an effective massage blend.

I like to collect essentials oils. Also, back in high school, I was fascinated with homeopathic medicines and the like. Does anyone know of any good links, books, etc., that break down Aromatherapy, like telling what certain smells represent or cause, things of that nature?
It’d be much appreciated.

The smell of Jasmine transports me to moonlit summer nights with the soft, sensual scent of Jasmine wafting through the night air. It is no surprise, given that in India Jasmine is called “queen of the night,” because the scent is stronger after sunset. The scent is known to be comforting, calming, and certainly sensual, and I also always associate it with romance.
Try this homemade jasmine perfume formula to open the doors of romance, to calm, and uplift the mind. Known as a Fertility oil, it is healing for sexuality and even known to ease the trauma of giving birth.

I couldn’t believe how easy it is to make this luxurious cream perfume. It is such a great gift idea, and so quick you can whip up a batch at the very last minute and still have it done in plenty of time!
We include two different formulas: one is bright and citrusy (according to a recent study I just saw discussed on the internet, wearing citrus scents makes you appear thinner to the opposite sex!) and one spicily reminiscent of the Three Kings’ gifts. Both are completely divine.
INGREDIENTS
* 2 tablespoons grated Beeswax
* 2 tablespoons sweet Almond oil
* 1-2 teaspoons pure essential oils
1. Melt Beeswax in an enamel or glass pan over boiling water. Add sweet Almond oil; combine. Be patient with this step; it’s important to blend them completely.

A lot of scientific research is being done on aromatherapy and the effects it has on our body, mind and emotions. However, hard research supporting the healing power is limited. I often see the effect that different smells have on people. It is very interesting to watch someone inhale a fragrance deeply and say “Oh, that smells so good!?And then two minutes later another person inhales the same fragrance and their response is “Oh, that stinks!?as they remove the scent quickly away from their nose.
However, it is not simply the aroma that is important, but also the chemical interaction between the essential oils and the body and the physical changes brought about. Each essential oil has its own individual combination of constituents which interact with your body’s chemistry and produces specific therapeutic effects.
Essential Oils
