I drank 16 ounces with 2 tsp of kosher salt. I’ve been having extremely watery Diarrhea for the past few hours. When can I expect this to stop?!
Answer:
What you did is basically a salt water flush - which is an oral enema - for lack of a better description. And, as just a point of advice, even though detoxing and cleanses can be very beneficial, it would be prudent to do them under the care of a natural health professional - they can carry risks. It’s a common misconception that just because something is ‘natural’ that it is safe.
Anyway, within 24 hours you SHOULD be over the effects, although you could still experience some nausea, so be careful what you eat - eat light - fruit juices and water are very good during flushes - especially water with a bit of Lemon.
In the future, have some aloe capsules on hand. They are a much safer way to deal with Constipation - and much much more gentle.
