Throughout time there have always been two opposing points of view as to how to maintain good health, or how to regain it after having lost it. This conflict has continued since ancient times…and no doubt will continue well into the future.
One ’side’ believes good health is as a result of outside intervention… drugs, surgery etc. The other ’side’ believes that good health results from living in harmony with natural law… correct nutrition… cleanliness etc.
The ancient Greeks had terms for these two groups of people. As was often the case in those days each group came under the umbrella of a ‘god’. One was ‘Asklepios’…the god of medicine, whose proponents advocated the ‘intervention’ approach. These people were known as ‘Asklepians’. Those who believed that the secret of good health resulted from living in harmony with nature looked up to ‘Hygeia’… Goddess of health. These people were known as ‘Hygeian’.

Methylation - A simple explanation
“Without methylation you would die in just a few days!”
If your body’s methylation is not working at an optimal level it will translate into many different health problems and will accelerate your aging process.
What is methylation?
In simple terms it is a process in which certain chemicals called ‘methyl groups’ are added to various constituents of Proteins, DNA and other molecules. These are needed to keep them in good ‘working’ condition.
For example, if the Antidepressant, ‘feel-good’ brain chemical serotonin is not methylated it will become inactive which in turns leads to depression! This is just one of the many ‘chemicals’ in the body that need to be methylated and if they are not can lead to serious health consequences.

Homeopathic remedy temporarily treats symptoms of Acne vulgaris including Blackheads on the face and body
Spot the difference through natural cleansing
While they are a fact of life, Pimples, boils, Acne and Blackheads are also inconvenient, bothersome, and unattractive. They also affect more than 85% of all people aged 12-24. Skin eruptions occur in 1-in-4 adults between the ages of 25-44, with women and teenagers especially vulnerable during hormonal changes.
The skin contains oil glands to keep itself moisturized. However, when these sebaceous glands overproduce, the excess oils lead to an excess of sebum, which in turn forms Pimples and pustules on the skin’s surface. Skin pores can also become blocked, forming Blackheads.
Facial pustules can be very distressing, leading to lowered self-esteem, which can affect daily social interactions. By addressing problem skin proactively, you can help control the problem and treat Acne naturally.
The natural way

Try the following blend of essential oils in a warm bath to ease Stress and muscle pain:
3 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
2 drops Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium var. amara)
1Â2 drops Frankincense (Boswellia cateri) Âoptional
When addressing a physical or emotional ailment or condition, use only Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils.
Add blend after bath is drawn, swirling oils throughout the water with your foot or hand before entering bath. Relax in in the bath at least 10 minutes, preferably 15 or 20 minutes.
Please be sure to keep oiled water away from your eyes. If you do get essential oils in your eyes, rinse with pure vegetable oils, NOT water!
You can use this blend once daily several times a week for a 2 to 3 week period. This recipe, when added to a tablespoon of Almond oil or pure vegetable oil, can also be used as an effective massage blend.

Question: from Gayle
By the way, I see that Jordin Rubin, of Garden of Life has just come out with a whole food vitamin.  Don’t know anything about it, but his products sell well here in FL. I don’t know if it’s because they are really good or because he is FL based. I do remember you saying that a product like that would require a lot of ingredients (I think you said that) and would be expensive. I wonder how it will do. He seems to write a book every time he brings a product out, very prolific.
Answer: from Warren Matthews of Xtend-Life
I am pleased that you raise this Gayle. Dr Mercola claims the same for his Multi.

We’re all familiar with summer thirst and I’m quite sure we’ve all been told and have read about how good water is for you and how the majority of us simply do not drink enough.
But, if you’re thirsty and water isn’t cutting it, what do you do? Well, for me that answer would be Coca Cola - ice cold, of course. For some it’d be a frost-brewed beer and others would opt for lemonade. But what’s the healthy choice here to both quench thirst AND aid our body’s health?
According to Jane Claxton-Oldfield, good old-fashioned soda pop has some major drawbacks. “…The fact that many sodas contain caffeine — a stimulant — is no secret. On the contrary, some soft drinks are being marketed on the basis of their high caffeine intake!”

The thyroid gland is located just near the voice box and is instrumental in synthesizing and releasing thyroid hormones. These thyroid hormones have an effect on practically every internal bodily activity. Abnormal thyroid conditions Hypothyroidism (an under active thyroid that produces inadequate hormones) and Hyperthyroidism (Overactive Thyroid producing more hormones than are good for health). A third thyroid condition is the enlargement of the thyroid gland.
An enlarged thyroid gland or Hyperthyroidism is normally addressed by a total or a partial surgical excision or radioiodine therapy. This is mainly done to reduce the size of the gland to restrict over production of hormones.
Hypothyroidism is dealt with hormonal replacement therapy that uses synthetically produced hormones or those derived from the thyroid tissue of pigs. Conventional treatment for both thyroid conditions is fraught with danger.
