Inspired by Better Basics of the Home, by Annie B. Bond (Three Rivers Press, 1999). Courtsey of http://www.care2.com/

This marvelous formula relies on just three all-natural antifungal and antibacterial ingredients that combine to make a marvelously sweet-smelling and effective dandruff treatment. Some of us use it just because we love the way it smells and because it leaves our hair feeling so soft, bouncy, and shining.

INGREDIENTS

* 8 ounces organic apple cider
* 2 ounces bay rum
* 10 drops essential oil of clove

1. In a pint mason jar with a screw lid, combine all the ingredients and shake thoroughly to blend.

2. Use about 1/4 cup per treatment. Apply to hair immediately after shampooing and allow to remain on the scalp and hair for several minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

3. This formula will keep indefinitely.
