Call it a cliché or whatever you like but that one moment on the lips could really mean a long time on the hips…and/or gut, butt etc. If society needed any further convincing that junk food is wrong on all levels, then this article should add more weight to the argument . It basically reveals the results of a study whereby a group of people were asked to double their daily calorie intake for a month while another group was asked to just simply go about their lives as normal. The first group ended up putting on some weight as could be expected, but they struggled to lose all of the weight gained as a result of eating junk food every day for a month. According to the researchers conducting the study, it seems that even brief fast food binges may have long-term effects on a person’s physiology and their ability to lose and/or prevent further weight gain…although it’s still not clear why this happens. Personally, I don’t think it’s important to know why junk food has this effect…what is important is to try and avoid it as much as possible

About Xtend Life
In 1998 Warren Matthews (a New Zealander) then 51 years of age reached a turning point in his life due to a number of ‘interesting’ experiences.
If you would like to know more about these please go to Warren’s blog for more background. Also as many people do when they reach 50 years of age he started becoming more aware of the generally poor health of others around him, both young and old. Friends would occasionally contract diseases, some terminal such as cancer, or die suddenly from heart attacks.
Early in 2000 Xtend-Life Natural Products (Intl) Ltd went ‘live’ and made available to the public its first generation of Total Balance a highly sophisticated multi nutrient supplement (as opposed to a multi vitamin/mineral supplement).
Dr Munem now directs the Xtend-Life Research and Development Department and has become a close friend of Warren’s. Since the first products were released in 2000 Xtend-Life has enjoyed a steady growth thanks to an ever increasing foundation of loyal customers who purchase products every month and refer their friends and family to Xtend-Life as well.
