Ways to Last Longer During Sex

What is the number one thing most men want to do in bed – and most women wish they would do? The answer is easy – last longer. Lasting longer during sex is something both men and women want, but for a lot of guys, it can be a tall order. The good news is that there are many things you can do to last a little longer in the bedroom and increase the pleasure for both you and your partner.

The first thing to know about premature ejaculation is that it happens to every guy sometime. Dont be ashamed to get a little help. There are a few basic rules of sex that can help prolong your pre-ejaculation time, and if those dont do the trick, there are training steps you can take to increase your stamina in the bedroom.

First, consider a position change. Any position that requires the man to hold himself up, like the missionary position, is tough a mans ejaculation control. If you swap places and go woman on top, you will have much more control over when you ejaculation.

Understanding Anxiety and Anxiety Attacks

Anxiety is a normal, healthy feeling that is experienced by everyone. It is the body’s way of reacting to stimulus that pushes us to either “fight” or “flight” over a situation. However, when anxiety attacks are chronic, severe, and irrational, and begin to affect the health of a person (physically, psychologically and emotionally), it already becomes a problem that must be addressed immediately. There is a thick line between healthy and unhealthy anxiety attacks. Unfortunately, the demarcation line is almost ignored that normal anxiety crosses into the territory of anxiety disorders.

Types of Anxiety Disorder

There are six different types of anxiety disorder, each has its own characteristics: generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, phobia, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is a chronic worry or fear over almost everything without even knowing why. They feel anxious from day to day activities and are troubled that bad things will happen. People with GAD show symptoms such as stomach upset, fatigue, restlessness, and insomnia.

CoQ10, Statins and a Warning – Part 1

We are often asked at Xtend-Life the question, “why we don’t include CoQ10 in any of our products?”. The answer is quite complex, but to give you the simple version I can say that we don’t have to because our foundation product Total Balance helps the body produce its own CoQ10.

I accept that the statement, “we don’t have to, because our foundation product Total Balance helps the body produce its own CoQ10!” is on its own not enough to satisfy many of our customers and potential customers. So, I am going attempt to explain in simple terms how it is possible for most people to get sufficient CoQ10 through just a daily intake of Total Balance and a reasonable diet.

However… even though I will make it as simple as possible, it is necessary, in order to adequately explain the mechanism of action, to devote 2 articles to this subject. The first part today is aimed at giving you a better understanding of what CoQ10 is and also why it has become so incredibly popular, and if indeed the popularity of this substance is warranted?

OK… so why has CoQ10 become so popular?

What is Perimenopause and Menopause?

In the beginning we await the curse; the onset of womanhood. In our later years, we experience the change. Does it necessarily follow this is the end of womanhood? No, but the two are synonymous. Perimenopause and menopause may be the end of the second cycle of life; but it is also the beginning of another. What is perimenopause and menopause?

Perimenopause is the time when hormonal changes occur in your body. Beginning in your late 30’s, 40’s and early 50’s, a disruption in your menstrual cycle may occur many times before menopause. If you are currently experiencing symptoms such as irregular periods,

heavy bleeding, hot flashes, sleep disruption, headaches, dry eyes, hair loss, and weight gain, or extreme emotional distress, you can be assured that these are all common signs of perimenopause. The hormonal changes which occur during perimenopause are responsible for many of these symptoms.  For some, most of the symptoms only last for a few months.

For others, no symptoms occur. What’s left is mild to severe symptoms. Generally, however, many women feel uneasy during this time; hot flashes, palpitations, fatigue, mood swings and even irrational thinking are among the many signs accompanying perimenopause.

Immune system remedies – fight low immunity naturally

If you have problems with immunity, you are most likely to get frequent bouts of cold, flu and some of those minor infections. Antibiotics are indeed the wonder drugs that they are made out to be, but recklessness in their use is not recommended.

It is a misnomer that antibiotics can treat and cure all viral and bacterial infections. Antibiotics do not have any affect on viruses and unnecessary administration can actually be counter productive. It can make your body immune to the drug and lead to bringing down of immunity. A natural antibiotic alternative can go a long way to help in prevent further damage that drugs can potentially cause and relieve symptoms as well.

Your body’s immune system is the first line of defense against foreign invaders: bacteria, pathogens, viruses, parasites or anything that can potentially cause disease. The spleen, thymus, lymphatic system and tonsils are all part of this extensive network of organs, tissues and cells including white blood cells, which help in self healing. Herbs for immune system and natural foods should be made a part of your daily routine to strengthen this complex system.

Hypothyroidism – What Are Some Natural Treatments?

More than 5 million Americans suffer from Hypothyroidism and as many as 10% of American women may have some form of thyroid dysfunction! Many people have hypothyroidism without even realizing it!

What is the thyroid gland and what does it do?

The thyroid gland is situated at the base of the throat and is stimulated by the pituitary gland to produce hormones which are important for the functioning and maintenance of all the cells in the body and for metabolism.

If there is an underproduction of thyroid hormones, hypothyroidism will result. Overproduction causes hyperthyroidism, or overactive thyroid.

There are different types of thyroid disease and dysfunction.

* Hashimotos Disease or Thyroiditis (one of the most common forms of hypothyroidism, an auto-immune disease of the thyroid gland)
* Hypothyroidism caused by a sluggish thyroid gland or thyroid gland inflammation
* Hypothyroidism caused by surgery or medication
* Hypothyroidism caused by iodine deficiency
* Hypothyroidism caused by dysfunction of the pituitary gland
* What are the symptoms of Hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis?
* Chronic fatigue and weakness
* Weight Gain or difficulty losing weight
* Hair loss or coarse, dry hair
* Dry and rough skin
* Intolerance to cold
* Abnormal menstrual cycles
* Decreased sex drive
* Memory loss

The Bodyworker’s Toolbox

By Shirley Vanderbilt

Just as a house is built from the ground up, on a firm foundation, so must your practice be based on a solid platform of knowledge and experience in the basics of massage and bodywork. But when it comes to adding windows of opportunity, its important to consider expanding your range. Creating a toolbox of modalities is an evolutionary process requiring thoughtful assessment of how best to meet the needs of your clients. It is also a means for staying competitive in an expanding market of integrative health.

Whats in your toolbox of modalities? How big does it need to be? I asked a variety of massage and bodywork practitioners and educators across the country. Their responses, although reflecting the diverse nature of the industry, point to a common denominator: What you carry in your toolbox depends on the type of practice you want. And to build a practice, you definitely need to keep adding to your toolbox.
