October 30th, 2007

This is the headline in a recent article in Reuters. According to a study involving nearly 3,500 women in several countries, various Chinese Herbs were considered to be more effective than drugs, acupuncture or heat compression.

No big surprise here!

Various herbal preparations have been used throughout time to relieve the discomfort that many women have before and during their menstrual periods. The key of course is using the correct Herbs in the correct proportions with the correct co-factors.

by Russill Paul

Medical research now validates immense physiological benefits from chanting: lowered blood pressure, stabilized heart rate, improved Circulation and the production of endorphins, which are the body’s natural painkillers and mood enhancers. Music, too, is wonderfully therapeutic and employed in a wide range of applications today, including the treatment of Alzheimer’s, sleep disorders and Autism. The therapeutic use of music is a tradition that can be traced back to Hippocrates, the father of Western medicine. Medical science also validates the benefits of Meditation in supporting healing processes that are preventive as well as curative.

Brain Lightening…What is your Opinion of this Supplement?

October 29th, 2007

Question: from Stephen

How does your Neuro Natural compare to Brain Lightning?

Answer: from Warren Matthews of Xtend-Life

The Brain Lightening product seems like a reasonable one, but compared to our Neuro-Natural Memory it is quite weak and very expensive!

Let me try to put this into perspective:

Brain Lightening:

  • Costs $110.00 for a bottle of 90 capsules although it is available at a discounted price of $69.95 plus shipping of $5.95 = $75.90. The recommended daily dose is 3 capsules.

Natural Energy with NZ Bee Pollen

October 27th, 2007

Why we lack energy

The stresses of a modern life, natural depletion of essential nutrients from your diet, a decrease in your immunity and the subsequent vulnerability to illness and underlying disease results in congestion and a lack of ability to maintain energy levels.

Tiredness, fatigue, and generally reduced energy levels are the most common signs of a depleted system.

Many products focus on a short-term stimulant to boost the system to increase energy.

Coffee is Healthy!

October 27th, 2007

Here are some facts (website reference at bottom):

  • In the sleep-deprived, says Harris Lieberman, PhD, a leading caffeine researcher, caffeine improves scores on a range of cognitive tasks, such as decision making, memory, learning, and attention.

  • A tall latte may keep you out of the dentist’s chair. In lab tests, researchers in Italy recently found that coffee’s antibacterials slow the growth of Streptococcus mutans, the culprit in tooth decay. Coffee also contains compounds that keep bacteria from sticking to tooth enamel.

Bladder infections…best treatment?

October 26th, 2007

Question: from Elizabeth

I’ve been getting Bladder Infections for about a month now. I drink cranberry juice and now take an extract I bought at the supermarket but I was wondering if you have something available.

I would much rather take your products if they are available then those found locally. The infection seems to clear up for awhile and then comes back again when I no longer drink the juice. Is there something else I should be doing? Thanks for your help! BTW: your newsletters are wonderful.
