Dr. David G. Williams — ALTERNATIVES — v6 n1, July 1995

Moving on to more “exotic” techniques to increase Immune System efficiency, we come to Castor Oil. I can remember my dad telling me time after time about his mother’s devotion to Castor Oil when he was growing up. At the first sign of any illness in one child, she would immediately give all the children a quick oral dose of Castor Oil.

New Study Finds Prevention is Key

Although there are more than 600 million people worldwide affected by COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), according to estimates by the World Health Organization, it is a disease that is unfamiliar to many of us.

COPD often goes undiagnosed because the symptoms and conditions usually develop over months and in some cases over years. Even once it is many of the 11 million Americans afflicted with the disease are so unfamiliar with COPD that they are unaware of how to treat it. A look at home remedies – Detox marijuana

July 17th, 2007

Discussions over increased toxicity in the body must necessarily include the role of recreational and illegal drugs. Cannabis sativa or marijuana is one of the illicit drugs that contribute the most to external Toxins.

Marijuana contains a fat soluble psychoactive substance called THC, which takes a much longer time to exit from the body than any other drug. Water soluble drugs get eliminated in a few days or weeks. But marijuana’s active chemical THC can remain stored in fat cells for months. If you are going for a dug test it will be better to do so while on normal diet because fasting or a crash diet ends up in releasing the stored THC in to the blood stream.

Proper Use of Insecticidal Soap

July 16th, 2007

Soap has been used for centuries as an all-purpose pesticide. When sprayed on insects, insecticidal Soap breaks down the insect’s protective coating, and causes it to dehydrate and die.

Insecticidal Soap is very different than dish water Soap! It is specially formulated with Fatty Acids to kill insects.

Dish washing Soap on the other hand contains perfumes and dyes, and in a concentrated form, can be harmful to plants. Therefore, whenever you see “Home Made Insecticidal Soap Recipes” be very careful not to burn your plants!
